Are you a highly organized individual with an interest in operations and logistics? Mediterrea, a leading tour & events agency in Malta, is looking for a dedicated Operations Assistant intern. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management, logistics, and operations while working in one of the most exciting destinations in the Mediterranean.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of tours and events.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the agency, ensuring all logistics are in place for successful events.
  • Communicate with suppliers, venues, and other stakeholders to organize services and ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Help manage schedules, bookings, and client communications, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of events, managing logistics on the ground.
  • Provide operational support during tours and events, ensuring all activities run according to plan.
  • Maintain organized records of bookings, vendor agreements, and client information.
  • Collaborate with the team to solve logistical challenges and improve operational processes.

Requirements:

  • Must be eligible for the Erasmus+ internship program (minimum 3-month placement).
  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Business, Event Management, Tourism, Operations, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving attitude with a keen eye for detail.
  • Enthusiasm for working in the tourism and events industry.
  • Flexibility to work during events, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
  • Experience with event management software or tools is a plus.
