Are you a motivated individual with a passion for marketing and looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment? Mediterrea, a leading tour & events agency in Malta, is offering an exciting internship opportunity for a Marketing Assistant. This internship will give you practical exposure to digital marketing, event promotion, and campaign management, all while working in the beautiful Mediterranean setting of Malta.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for our tours, events, and holiday packages.
- Support the management of social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and audience engagement.
- Help write engaging copy for website content, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for new promotional strategies.
- Assist in the development of email marketing campaigns and monitor performance metrics.
- Contribute to the creation of visuals and marketing materials in collaboration with the design team.
- Track, analyze, and report on the success of digital campaigns and social media performance.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to boost brand awareness.
Requirements:
- Must be eligible for the Erasmus+ internship program (minimum 3-month placement).
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and digital marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Creative thinking and a passion for marketing strategies.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of digital tools like Google Analytics, Canva, and email marketing platforms is a plus.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
