Mediterrea, a vibrant tour & events agency in Malta, is looking for a certified freelance tour guide to join our team. If you’re passionate about Malta’s history, culture, and hidden gems, and you love sharing your knowledge with others, we want to hear from you! This is a flexible freelance role, with a minimum commitment of 2 times per week for 2 hours each time, perfect for those who want to work part-time while making an impact.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging and informative tours for groups, showcasing the best of Malta’s attractions.
- Share your in-depth knowledge of Malta’s history, culture, and landmarks in a captivating way.
- Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Adapt your tours to the interests and needs of the group, maintaining flexibility and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the Mediterrea team to ensure a smooth and well-coordinated tour experience.
- Comply with all necessary legal and safety regulations during tours.
Requirements:
- Must be a certified tour guide with all the necessary documents as required by Maltese law.
- Minimum availability of 2 times per week for 2-hour tours.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of Maltese history, culture, and key attractions.
- Ability to engage groups and tailor information to suit diverse audiences.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for sharing Malta’s heritage.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
